Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia
The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) is the national body for prostate cancer in Australia. The PCFA plays a vital role in the fight against prostate cancer and devotes all of it resources towards reducing the impact of prostate cancer on the community.
Their goal is to:
- reduce the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men, their partners, their families and the community
- represent the interests of all Australian men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
They work to raise awareness and attract widespread financial support for the work of the Foundation to:
- fund research into the causes, detection, diagnosis and improved treatment of prostate cancer
- provide information, support and counselling to those affected by prostate cancer
- raise community awareness of the incidence of prostate cancer, thereby encouraging earlier detection and more effective treatment of the disease.

AIDS
Trust of Australia
The AIDS Trust
of Australia is the only national body raising and dispersing
funds for HIV/AIDS research, education, care and support provided
by community based organizations. The Trust does not receive
nor seek government funding, preferring to rely on corporations,
quality events and the generosity of individuals for its income.
Their
Vision
An
Australia where the transmission of HIV has been eliminated
and where the rights of those already affected are protected
and their special needs met.
Their
Mission
To
enhance Australia's response to HIV/AIDS. They achieve this
through raising funds and disbursing them to community based
organizations that provide education, care, support and research
in a way that fulfils the trust placed in them by donors,
supports and those living with HIV/AIDS.

Aspect is a charity
and the major provider of services for children and families
affected by autism in Australia. It provides services via
its network of schools, early intervention and outreach staff,
family support network, dedicated Autism Information Line,
and employment and community participation for adults with
autism.
